Control Room CCTV Supervisor

Job Description

DUTIES:
• Maintain CCTV equipment and servers to ensure optimal functionality.
• Conduct regular health checks on customer cameras.
• Perform timely updates and firmware upgrades.
• Collaborate with sales and technical teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding.
• Oversee offsite monitoring setups and adjustments, including work with Dahua/Hikvision systems, with occasional on-site visits.
• Retrieve, download, and save footage to address customer queries and complaints.
• Respond promptly to customer concerns regarding CCTV systems.
• Provide 24/7 standby support for camera room issues.
• Prepare and deliver detailed daily, weekly, and monthly reports for operational managers

KNOWLEDGE & CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

At least 18 years of age
Matric
Valid PSIRA Registration
Minimum Grade E
Criminal Record Vetting Procedure
Pre-employment Polygraph
Strong operational acumen with excellent problem-solving abilities
Basic technical proficiency and knowledge of CCTV systems.
Ability to stay updated with technological advancements and train staff accordingly.
Exceptional communication skills for effective team and customer collaboration.
Experience in conducting disciplinary procedures.
Valid driver’s license and own vehicle, available for 24/7 standby.
Capability to multitask and make informed decisions under pressure.
Proven experience in CCTV operations.
