Self-Description of my Work Ethics:

GUARDING CONTROLLER

-Booking on/off guards via posting sheet to confirm site coverage

-Obtaining OB numbers to confirm shift coverage.

-Taking down queries and forwarding them to HR/Payroll, then reverting to the guards.

-Ensuring the inspector visits all his sites accordingly and sticks to his route plan to avoid excessive fuel usage.

-Attending to site requirements or client requests.

-Monitoring and responding to WhatsApp messages and crime groups.

ALARM CONTROLLER

-Live Monitoring Using WatchManager / Listener.

WATCHMANAGER

-Contacting keyholders listed; if no response from any, dispatching armed response and providing a full description of the activation along with access notes.

-Troubleshooting issues related to WatchManager, including loading/editing of new or existing clients.

-Generating client history/activation reports, 24-hour test logs, and monthly response logs to ensure no excessive dispatches.

LISTENER

-Contacting clients whose alarm systems fail to test (FTT) and advising them to test their systems by triggering them.

-Logging job cards for the technical department if issues persist, and assisting

with troubleshooting prior to logging the job.

-Updating a daily spreadsheet for tracking purposes, including which clients tested, which didn’t, and which job cards were booked.

-Actioning of alarms/panics/FTT/FC/ACF/B-L, etc.

OTHER FUNCTIONS

-Creating monthly staff rosters for 150+ staff including inspectors and armed response officers.

-Creating and maintaining a monthly live file, including a data-capturing. spreadsheet to ensure each employee is recorded by their shifts.

-Typing out formulas to generate a final payroll sheet, categorizing employees as:

Worked / AWOL / Absent with Reason / Sick Leave / Annual Leave.

-Programming of PTT radios and patrol points, and creating shifts for sites requiring patrols.

-Creating security plans and procedures

-Typing out incident reports and client reports.

-Typing job descriptions and standard site requirements.

-Issuing warnings to employees who fail to adhere to company policies or are involved in misconduct.

-Extensive knowledge of WatchManager, alarm monitoring procedures, and troubleshooting steps to assist clients over the phone.
