Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to express my interest in the Surveillance and Operational Support position at  your company . With a background in customer service and administration, paired with strong technical awareness and a professional approach to handling sensitive situations, I am confident in my ability to contribute effectively to your 24/7 surveillance and incident management operations.

I hold a Matric (Grade 12) and am PSIRA-registered (Grade C), with a clear understanding of the importance of vigilance, confidentiality, and proactive monitoring in security-focused environments. My strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and data systems, enables me to navigate surveillance software and reporting tools with ease.

Additionally, I have developed excellent telephone etiquette and clear communication skills, which are essential for handling alarm triggers, dispatch coordination, and real-time incident escalation. While I do not have direct technical training in camera and alarm systems, I possess a strong technical aptitude and am eager to build on this with practical, hands-on experience. I am also familiar with two-way radio communication protocols and understand the importance of situational awareness, body language interpretation, and behavioural profiling in identifying potential threats or irregularities.

I work well under pressure, adapt quickly to new systems, and remain focused during high-stakes or overnight shifts. I am eager to bring these qualities to your team and contribute to your mission of delivering reliable and responsive security services.

Thank you for considering my application. I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss how my skills and motivation align with your current needs. I am available at your earliest convenience and can be reached at 084 334 3181 or Sibusiso.Sangweni01@gmail.com.

Sincerely,
Sibusiso Sangweni
