📡 Technical Support Engineer — CCTV & Networking
📍 Plumstead, Cape Town | 🕗 Full-time, On-site (Mon–Fri, 8am–6pm)

Are you technically minded with a background in CCTV systems or computer networking? OmniVision Security, a leading off-site CCTV monitoring company based in Cape Town, is expanding our team.
We’re looking for a Technical Support Engineer to support the growth of our monitoring network and help maintain the high standards our clients expect.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Work closely with installation partners’ technical teams to ensure correct system setup
Configure and onboard new CCTV sites to our monitoring platform
Establish and maintain network and remote access connections
Maintain and troubleshoot internal office IT infrastructure (networking, VoIP, Windows PCs)
Review and report on system performance for monitored sites
Communicate technical issues and solutions clearly to clients
Requirements
Experience with CCTV systems (IP and/or analogue) — essential
Experience with networking and internet connectivity — essential
Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
Good communication skills and confidence interacting with both technical teams and clients
Able to work independently and as part of a small, fast-moving team
