Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and coordinate the installation and maintenance of our security systems, ensuring that all operations are executed with the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise the technical team responsible for the installation and servicing of security systems, including alarms, CCTV, gate and garage automation, access control, and electric fencing.
Ensure all installations and maintenance activities are completed to company and industry standards.
Provide technical expertise and support for complex installations and troubleshooting.
Develop and implement training programs for technical staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of the technical team, providing guidance and support as needed.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Oversee inventory management for technical equipment and ensure the team has the necessary resources to perform their duties effectively.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of alarms, CCTV systems, gate and garage automation, access control systems, and electric fencing.
Strong electrical background with a solid understanding of relevant regulations and safety standards.
Excellent technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Proven leadership and team management abilities.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Must reside in or near Springs, South Africa.
Preferred Skills:
Relevant technical certifications and qualifications.
Experience in a similar managerial role within the security industry.
