Job Title: Control Room Manager
Location: Johannesburg
Salary: Market-Related

✅ Minimum Requirements:

– Grade 12
– Computer literate in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
– Strong technical knowledge of security control room systems
– 2-3 years experience
– PSIRA registered
– Good communication skills

✅ Key Performance Areas:

– Overall control room management:
– Led and managed a team of control room operators and call center agents
– Set clear operational goals and objectives for both teams
– Foster a culture of teamwork, excellence and continuous improvement
– Oversee administrative functions within the control room
– Maintain records, logs and documentation as required
– Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
– Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies
– Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly
– Lead the response to security incidents and emergencies
– Co-ordinate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed
– Implement incident report and documentation procedures
– Manage recruitment, training and development of control room and call centre staff
– Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
– Optimize operational processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
– Prepare and present regular operational reports
– Monitor and enforce compliance with industry regulations
– Ensure that control room and call centre procedures are adhered to best practices
